This program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering thinking tools to address essential topics including but not limited to strategic planning, operational leadership, financial Leadership, leading projects, and communication skills.
As a participant in this program, you will join a cohort of 10 to 15 individuals committed to personal and professional growth. Throughout the four-month duration of the program, you will engage in live sessions, interactive discussions, and collaborative activities aimed at honing your leadership capabilities.
One distinctive feature of the Thinking for Leadership Advanced Program is its emphasis on practical application. Participants will be required to work on an existing project relevant to their professional or personal interests. Each cohort member will be tasked with presenting the results of their project at a concluding symposium, providing a platform for sharing insights and lessons learned.
Active participation is critical to maximizing this program's benefits. Cohort members are expected to attend live sessions, contribute to discussion boards, share challenges, and provide constructive feedback to fellow participants. We aim to facilitate meaningful growth and development for all participants by fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

Program Commitment
Your commitment is essential to actively engage throughout the entire four-month program. This entails attending the bi-weekly live sessions, contributing to the discussion boards, dedicating time to your chosen project, and delivering a presentation during the final symposium.
Project Leader
You will be tasked with working on and providing updates on a project of your own selection. This project should be one that allows you to make continuous progress while taking part in the program. It is essential that you are the lead in driving this project forward.
Thinking Pathways for Leadership Program Leader
Dr. Sirias holds a master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from The University of Memphis. He is recognized as a TOCFE trainer and TOCICO thinking process implementer. Currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing at Saginaw Valley State University, Dr. Sirias specializes in leveraging the Theory of Constraints to optimize patient flow across various medical settings such as Emergency Departments, Inpatient Units, Operating Rooms, and Outpatient Clinics. Notably, he co-authored the book "Smash the Bottleneck: Fixing Patient Flow for Better Care." Dr. Sirias is also credited with developing the Problem-Solving Maps methodology, an innovative approach to teaching mathematics that has been adopted by numerous educators worldwide. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to education, he was honored as the Practitioner of the Year by TOCICO in 2019.
